    CANCELLATION POLICY

    At Arlades, we understand that plans change. This Cancellation Policy sets out the terms under which you may cancel an Order, request a refund, or modify a Service booking. Please read it carefully before placing an Order on www.arlades.com.

    This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions (Last Updated: 26.05.2026) and is compliant with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the e-Commerce Rules, 2020.

    1. CANCELLATION BY YOU

    1.1 Standard (Non-Custom) Orders

    You may cancel a standard Order within 7 days of order placement, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

    To cancel, you must:

          Submit your cancellation request in writing to contact@arlades.com

          Include your Order number and registered email address

          Send the request within 7 calendar days of the Order confirmation date

    Cancellation requests received after 7 days from order placement will not be eligible for a refund, except in the case of defective or damaged Products (see Section 3).

    1.2 Custom & Made-to-Order Products

    Due to the bespoke nature of custom stone work, cancellation is governed by the following stages:

    Once you approve the final design and manufacturing has commenced, no cancellation or refund is available. We strongly recommend reviewing all design proofs carefully before approval.

    1.3 Service Bookings (Design & Installation)

    For hardscape planning, design consultation, and professional stone-laying services:

    2. CANCELLATION BY ARLADES

    We reserve the right to cancel any Order at our sole discretion under the following circumstances:

          The ordered Product is out of stock or discontinued

          A pricing or product description error was identified on the Website

          There are reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity

          The Order is in violation of these Terms and Conditions

    In all such cases, Arlades will:

          Notify you promptly via your registered email address

          Issue a full refund to your original payment method within 14 business days

     

    3. REFUND ELIGIBILITY

    3.1 Eligible for Refund

    3.2 Not Eligible for Refund

    Refunds will NOT be issued for:

          Natural variations in color, veining, texture, or grain (inherent to all natural stone products)

          Custom or made-to-order Products once manufacturing has commenced

          Products damaged due to improper handling, storage, or installation by a third party

          Change of mind after the 7-day cancellation window

          Service fees for cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice

          Delivery and shipping charges (non-refundable once dispatch has occurred)

     

    4. REFUND PROCESS

    Upon approval of a valid refund request, the following process applies:

    Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to a defect or an error by Arlades. We will arrange collection of Products; shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.

    6. CONSUMER RIGHTS

    Nothing in this Cancellation Policy limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the e-Commerce Rules, 2020, or any other applicable Indian law. If you are a consumer as defined under applicable law, you may have additional rights that cannot be waived by contract.

    If you are unsatisfied with our resolution, you have the right to file a complaint with:

    7. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY

    We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email (if you have a registered account) or by a prominent notice on the Website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document indicates the most recent revision.

    Continued use of the Website after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not agree with any changes, you may request deletion of your account and data by writing to contact@arlades.com.
